Recently found in our archives were over 50 cassette recordings that featured interviews with local citizens from the community. Several featured business leaders, school teachers, and wonderful stories from our African American community. Thanks to Delaware Humanities, these tapes have been transferred to digital media. We will rotate them here on our website for you to enjoy.
Digitization of these recordings was performed by 302 Stories. Thank you to Mike Oates and Jeanne Covert
These recordings all also serve as the backdrop for our Black History Month display in February of 2024. Be sure to check back often for updates and progress on this project!
